Conflict Resolution Strategies

A number of Studies and Researches have been carried out to find out conflict resolution Strategies. I propose this model:

Promote Equality: We all are born equal. There are no ups and downs. But Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has created us different and with differences so that we can get recognized. Because we recognize each person according to the culture, country, language and looks.

Respect as you want to be respected: If you want to get respected you must respect in same way. People will react and behave with you in same way you’ll behave with them. When you’ll give respect to all, then your attitude will be admired by all. Disrespecting someone will leave bad impression not only on that person with whom you misbehaved but also on those who look on to that misbehavior.

Listen Carefully: When someone is talking you’ve to listen carefully and attentively. Generally, this rule applies to every person who is talking with you. But specifically listening is more important when a person who is talking with you is designated in upper management, boss, parent, teacher or any person with higher status to whom you are obliged to respect.

Speak carefully: Speak in low voice, politely. Speak good words. Repeat your speech especially if listener is not from same culture or language.

  • Keep your voice low, soft and polite. Harsh, loud, rude and cruel voice will make a bad impression of you
  • Use good words and terms: Avoid using words in your speech that are not good or make a bad impression or words that u do not want anyone to use for u or with you.
  • Repeat your speech. Some people are not good listeners they comprehend it differently.
Problem-solving: Finding solutions to existent problem instead of making it more complicated by having fights.
Ignore: Ignore small and minor faults of others instead of making mess of it and exaggerating the problem
Forgive: Forgiving other people’s problems and not taking everything to heart will solve much of the problem.
Several Research studies have proposed different steps and conflict resolution strategies for HR Managers.
